Week 1 (May 7-11)


Monday, May 7

10 a.m. Introductions (INCA, SJ, etc.) and Orientation - schedule, attendance, assignments, attendance, equipment, finding stories (3 due today), etc.

11:45 - 1:30 LUNCH INCA Panel - Surviving INCA Summer Institute;  What we did after INCA? Friday 11

a.m. Work time to pull the week together! By the end of the day you will submit a list of two or three interview subjects who you have confirmed are available for your story, five details or facts that you will include in your story that come from your research, your thoughts on the ethical considerations you will be aware of as you write your story, and ideas for great photo to illustrate your story.

The plan is that by the end of this week, we will deliver a one-hour show or a two-hour show to MBC for National Indigenous Day. We don't have to deliver until Monday or Tuesday of next week, but it would be nice to get it done so we can move on to television with Mark Solnoky, APTN
