Following the advice of everyone I know, I subscribed to Adobe Creative Suite. So far, the applications I’ve used the most are PhotoShop and InDesign. There’s also Premiere for video editing, Audition for sound editing, something called Lightroom that I have no idea what it does. You can sign up for individual programs or the entire suite. I signed up as a teacher/student and $20 pay monthly. There is also a one month trial you can sign up for, and since we don’t get into audio and video editing until late May, you might be able to get away with doing that. There are also free softwares available, like Audacity for audio editing, which works just fine.
